    The Marlborough School District is currently accepting applications for the following positions for the 2023-2024 school year.

    BUILDING SUBSTITUTE: Marlborough Elementary School is seeking candidates for a building substitute position for the 2023-24 school year. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a High School Diploma or equivalent and have some experience with school-age children.     Substitute Teachers/Paraeducators - The Marlborough Public School District accepts Substitute Teacher, Paraeducator and Nurse applications at any time. Applicants should submit a complete substitute application and cover letter. Substitute teacher applicants will also need to provide proof of a four year degree or a valid Connecticut teaching certification. Substitute paraeducator applicants must possess  high school diploma. School nurse applicants must possess a Connecticut RN license and valid CPR & First Aid certification. Upon receipt of an application, qualified applicants will be contacted to begin the hiring process which includes an interview, training and a background check.     We are currently in need of anyone interested in being a substitute for our school nurse on an as needed basis.

    Substitute rates for teachers and paraeducators - $110 per day ($55 for half-day)

    Substitute nurse rate of pay - $35.00 per hour
